Rui Bergantim completed his PhD in Medicine and Molecular Oncology at Universidade do Porto in 2025, where he previously earned his Medical Degree in 2006. Currently, he holds several academic and clinical positions, serving as an Invited Assistant at the Faculty of Medicine, Universidade do Porto, and as a Clinical Hematologist at both Centro Hospitalar Universitário de São João and Hospital Lusíadas Porto. Additionally, he is a researcher at the Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde (i3S) in Porto. He actively contributes to Science and Technology Management within the framework of the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST).
