Ana Cristina Magalhães holds a Master degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Porto. Her interest in infectious diseases led her to embrace a PhD in Pathology and Molecular Genetics, with the aim of understanding the disease mechanisms to improve the diagnosis and treatment of emerging viruses, in the Genetic Diversity group.
