Celso A. Reis is graduated BSc in Biology, MSc in Oncobiology, and PhD in Human Biology at the University of Porto. He is a Coordinator Researcher at Ipatimup. Celso A. Reis is a scientist specialized on glycobiology in cancer, with particular focus on gastric carcinogenesis. He has contributed to the molecular characterization of the alterations of glycosylation in gastric mucosa induced by Helicobacter pylori, and the uncovering of the glycogenes underlying the modulation of the gastric phenotype in gastric cancer.
