The Instituto de Patologia e Imunologia Molecular da Universidade do Porto organises, every year an international meeting on a cancer related subject. The format of this meeting is an advanced course and occupies two days and it is held in Porto. The advanced course is made within in the frame of the Doctoral Program of the University of Porto on Biology and Applied Biology (GABBA Program). Participants are PhD students of the GABBA Program, researchers of our Institute, pathologist and clinicians. The maximum number of participants is 60 and the sessions are held in a very informal environment, usually with vivid discussion.
This XIII Edition of the Porto Cancer Meeting will focus on Microsatellite instability, Mismatch repair genes and Cancer.

  PURPOSE AND ORGANISATION

To create a discussion forum to solve impasses/ difficulties in the resolution of specific problems and to evaluate and develop research programs and co-ordination.
